Car Rental in Weidmann

How renting works in Weidmann

Here is what to know about renting in Weidmann with CarmaCars. The details: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Nothing is charged until we confirm the car and the price and you approve.

Worth knowing

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have. A request is free and commits you to nothing.

Weidmann and nearby

Nearby places include Inwood, Glen Rae and Aberfeldy.

The closest airport is Sarnia Chris Hadfield Airport, about 32 km away. Between November and April, ask for winter tires when the car offers them.

Places within a day's drive

A common drive is Prince Edward County, roughly 220 km from Toronto, for wineries, farms and small towns. For something different, Kingston is about 260 km away, for the waterfront and the Thousand Islands. Each car's page tells you how many kilometres a day are included. If the plan includes a border crossing, ask in your request: it needs our written consent.

When it makes sense

People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy. People visiting Weidmann who want a car without the airport counter.

Where we hand over the car

At about 245 km in a straight line from our location in Toronto, Weidmann is inside our delivery map. Each car's page shows its delivery fee, and the offer shows the total before you pay.

Coming to us instead? Pickup at our location is free. A short walkaround at the handover records the car's condition. Airport handovers at Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport are possible; tell us the flight time.

Renting: the basics

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Send a request

When you have your dates, send a request. It is free, and the offer shows the full price.
