Good fits

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

What is different here

You deal with a small team that answers the phone and reads every request. Every car is a real listing with its own rates, so you compare before you ask. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account. If the car you want is taken, we suggest the closest match we have.

Booking made plain

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
