How renting works in Wildercroft

This page is for Wildercroft, but CarmaCars rents from Toronto. Here is the plain answer. Good to know: Rent by the day, the week or up to 365 days at a time. Drivers 18 and older with an Ontario G2 or G licence can rent. Each car lists its rates for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month.

Before you plan around us

We do not have a location in Wildercroft; CarmaCars works out of Toronto. About 568 km separate our location in Toronto and Wildercroft, far past our 250 km delivery area.

For a drive from Toronto, a car from us works, with the kilometres priced on each car's page. Driving out of Ontario is possible only with our written consent, given before the trip. Ask us about Wildercroft in a request; a person answers honestly. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.

Why this way of renting

Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Each car has its own page with photos of that car, not a stock image of a category. There is no app to install: everything works in your browser.

When it makes sense

Drivers who want to try a different kind of car for a week. Anyone whose own car is booked in for service for a few days.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.

How booking works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Every car on the site has a page of its own, with its calendar and its rates. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
