Common reasons to rent

People whose plans changed and need a car on short notice. People whose car is in the shop, people visiting family, and people trying a model before they buy.

Why people choose us

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. Rent by the day, the week or the month, with the same simple request each time. Requests are read in order and answered by a person. You choose the exact car, not a category with "or similar".

From your dates to the handover

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Licence, age and card

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. The name on the card has to match the name on the licence.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
