Worth knowing

You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. The deposit is never taken when you book, only shortly before pickup. Your bookings, receipts and agreements are in your account.

When it makes sense

Anyone between a car sale and a car purchase. People with family in town who need a second car for a while.

What we need from you

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Requesting a car

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

When you know your dates

Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
