Why CarmaCars

Whatever the reason for the rental, the steps are the same. You choose the car, we confirm it, and the offer shows every charge. We answer questions before you book, not only after. A person reads each request and answers it, by email and in your account.

How to book

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

The rules, briefly

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
