CarmaCars is a Toronto car rental company. You work remotely and earn on every rental you source, rising with the rental days you close each month.
What you do
- Cover at least 20 hours a week of Thursday to Sunday afternoons, Toronto time, and reply to every enquiry within 15 minutes
- Generate your own leads: repost our cars on Facebook Marketplace and classified sites every day, and reply to social media messages
- Follow up every quote three times and chase tentative holds before they expire
- Reach businesses and long-term renters who need a car for weeks at a time
- Log every touch (repost, reply, follow-up, outreach) in our system
What you need
- Two years of sales follow-up or appointment setting by phone and chat for North American customers
- Confident spoken English; persistence without pressure
- You quote only what the rate sheet allows
- Your own computer, headset, backup internet and power
- No work for another car rental business serving Ontario
Hours
You choose your hours, with at least 20 hours a week inside Thursday to Sunday afternoons, Toronto time (night in Manila). Independent contractor, 30-day trial.
Pay
- Commission only: no salary and no hourly rate.
- Commission on each rental you source, once it is completed and paid in full: 5% of the rental charge under 50 rental days in the calendar month, 10% from 50 days, 15% from 100 days (the month's rate applies to all of that month's rentals; an Admin approves each commission).
- Activity minimum: 400 logged touches in a month. Below it, that month's rate drops one level (15% to 10%, 10% to 5%).
- Credit only for rentals you source: website requests you answer on your shift count; walk-ins and partner deals belong to in-person staff.
The paid test
A one-hour test for a flat fee agreed before it starts: write a three-message follow-up (WhatsApp, email, call script) for a business quote that went quiet. Pass mark 16 out of 20; a discount outside the rate sheet fails the test.
