Driver requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
