The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The rules, briefly

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Booking in plain terms

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.
