The 2018 Audi A4 Komfort in plain words

In silver

A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for silver in your request. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list.

Under the hood

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 6-speed manual. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 26 litres, from its 8.6 L/100 km rating. That works out to about $15.05 per 100 km at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

What to expect from the A4

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 368 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What we check

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

The steps

Choose the car and your times, then send a request. A request does not hold the car, and it costs nothing. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
