Haystack and the A4

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 3,647 km from Haystack, and does not deliver there. If you need it in Haystack itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Petaluma, Lakeville and Penngrove are the closest places to Haystack on our list.

In silver

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. The studio image shows the A4 in silver; photos of each real car are on its page. A silver car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm.

The figures, translated

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.8 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 23 litres. Expect about $13.65 per 100 km at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. At 368 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can you rent one?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you.

Requirements

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Your booking, in three steps

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.
