Specs, explained

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 24 litres for every 300 km, going by its 7.9 L/100 km combined rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $138.30 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 4.76 m long, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. EPA lists 368 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Who qualifies

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

How booking works

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
