Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The EPA rates it at 7.9 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 24 litres. At our price setting, it costs about $13.83 to drive 100 km.

Who rents the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

The A4 in everyday use

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The body is 4.76 m long and 1.85 m wide. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Licence, age and card

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

How booking works

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

One more step

Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
