Java and the A4

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 3,178 km away. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Java starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

Klinefelter, Ibis and Arrowhead Junction are the closest places to Java on our list.

Choosing a colour

The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. If you want it in blue, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. In blue, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page.

Under the hood

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Combined fuel use is 7.9 L/100 km: about 24 litres for 300 km. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $138.30.

Size and space

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 4.76 m from bumper to bumper, it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Can you rent one?

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

From your dates to the handover

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Driver basics

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Still deciding?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
