A note on Ruby

CarmaCars is based in Toronto, about 1,497 km from Ruby, and does not deliver there. We rent from Toronto only. If your trip to Ruby starts in the Toronto area, rent the car here.

The pages for Riverside Park, Twin Oaks Mobile Park and Grover cover the areas next door.

Colour notes

Tell us if black is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for black and we try.

Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 24 litres, from its 7.9 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.83 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Space and size

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its length is 4.76 m, so it is on the long side. Check the size of a tight parking spot. In plain terms, its 368 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting it

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

What to have ready

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

From request to keys

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. A pickup can be as soon as 2 hours after your request, when the car is free.

When you know your dates

Choose a car above and send a request. A person replies with an offer, and you pay only if you approve it.
