Colour notes

Want black? Put it in the request. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for black and we try. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer.

What the specs mean

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through a 7-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 24 litres, from its 7.9 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $13.83 at our price setting.

Room inside

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Measured bumper to bumper, it is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. For luggage, 368 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

Driver requirements

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Request, offer, keys

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
