The A4 in white

In white, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for white and we try. A white car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm.

Engine and fuel

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

The A4 in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

The rules, briefly

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
