Choosing a colour

Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before. A brown car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Tell us if brown is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Under the hood

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Who the A4 suits

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Inside and out

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

How renting with us works

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
