Choosing a colour

Ask for silver in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for silver in your request.

The numbers in plain words

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $38.61 at our price setting.

Space and size

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. EPA lists 340 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Can you rent one?

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Getting the car booked

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Before pickup

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
