Next door to Downs are Gillum, Shamrock and Brokaw.

About the colour

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for beige and we try. Ask for beige in your request; the offer confirms the colour of the car. Tell us if beige is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. For 1,000 km, budget about $128.70 at our price setting.

The A4 in everyday use

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Renting it

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

What to have ready

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

If you have no auto policy and no card benefit, the CarmaCars Protection Plan is the third option, priced in your offer. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

The booking steps

A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
