What the figures tell you

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Room inside

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who can rent

You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Booking, step by step

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
