The A4 and Gresham

The A4 in silver

A silver car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. If you want it in silver, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Tell us if silver is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Requirements

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. The daily young driver fee is shown on each car's page, for drivers under 26. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
