Choosing a colour

What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Room inside

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

In our fleet

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner.

Booking in plain terms

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Rules for renters

We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
