In brown

Tell us if brown is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. Our brown cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Our brown cars of this kind are listed first, when we have one.

Specs, explained

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Who can rent

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Your booking, in three steps

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
