It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
