A note on Ruby City

Ruby City is about 988 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby City.

Willits-Ochre Hill, Addie and Balsam are the closest places to Ruby City on our list.

Choosing a colour

Our brown cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. In brown, the A4 looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Want brown? Put it in the request.

The figures, translated

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space and size

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Renting this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who qualifies

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Extra drivers are welcome; each one is checked and signs the agreement.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Your part at the start is short: choose a car and dates and send a free request. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
