What the specs mean

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The combined figure, 8.3 L/100 km, means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Space and size

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Request, offer, keys

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

What we need from you

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
