In brown

Our brown cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. If you want it in brown, say so in your request and we look for one for your dates. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Space and size

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

How to book

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Approving the offer and paying it confirms the booking.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Rules for renters

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.

Your move

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
