Colour notes

A silver car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. The colour is part of what we confirm in the offer. Want silver? Put it in the request.

Engine and fuel

The engine is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Room inside

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

Who can rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Booking with CarmaCars

It begins with your request, sent online in a few minutes, with no payment. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.
