The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Who rents the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Its 340 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

What to expect when you book

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. You pay only once you approve the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Licence, age and card

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
