Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

What to expect from the A4

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. EPA lists 340 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the A4

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Our A4 cars

Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Getting the car booked

Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Before pickup

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Make a request
