Renting: the basics
We need every driver to be at least 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.
Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
