Colour notes

The studio image shows the Q5 in black; photos of each real car are on its page. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for black in your request. If black matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates.

Specs, explained

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

Fuel use is rated 9.9 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 30 litres. Every 100 km costs about $17.33 in fuel at our price setting.

Good uses for the Q5

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Living with the Q5

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Our Q5 cars

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates.

The steps

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From one day to 365, a single booking covers it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
