The Q5 in silver

Our silver cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for silver and we try. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

The numbers in plain words

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. It is a plug-in hybrid: it runs on electricity for a short distance, then on gas like a regular hybrid. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

The EPA rates it at 8.8 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 26 litres. It can cover about 644 km on electricity before switching to gas. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $13.64 at our price setting.

Who rents the Q5

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Size and space

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height. The length is 4.68 m. It fits most condo and driveway spots.

Can I rent it?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Requesting a car

Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

What to bring

Drivers from 18 up, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, are welcome. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Name every driver in your request, and each is checked before pickup.
