Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We check that the card and the licence carry the same name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
