The Silverado in silver

If silver matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates. In silver, the Silverado looks like the studio image; real photos are on each car's page. Tell us if silver is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly.

Engine and fuel

Its powertrain is the 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with rear-wheel drive. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.

A combined rating of 8.8 L/100 km works out to about 26 litres per 300 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $40.92 in energy at our price setting.

Space and size

As a pickup truck, it has an open bed for things that would never fit in a trunk.

Who the Silverado suits

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

What you need to rent

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking in plain terms

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. We send the offer to your account and your email, with the total shown. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.

Your move

The quickest way to a price is a request with your dates. It costs nothing.
