The Dodge 400, explained
Here are all the Dodge 400 model years we have figures for.
Room inside
A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. A lower seat than an SUV means a little more effort getting in, and a planted feel on the road.
When the 400 makes sense
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.
In our fleet
Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
What we need from you
Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
What happens when you ask for a car
You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Renting a Dodge 400
Can I rent a Dodge 400 in Toronto?
Not from our fleet right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile 6 similar cars are available below.
How old do I need to be to rent?
18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers aged 18 to 20 pay a young driver fee of $35 a day, and 21 to 25 pay $20 a day.
How much is the deposit?
Between $500 and $5,000, depending on the car. It is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book, and the balance is released within 7 business days after you return the car.
What coverage do I need?
Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer by car and driver age. At $2,500 or more we claim on our fleet policy and you pay the $2,500 deductible.
Can the car be delivered?
Yes, anywhere, including Toronto Pearson International Airport and Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport. Delivery starts at $75 plus the distance from our location, priced in your offer. Collecting the car yourself is free.
