How a booking comes together
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Driver basics
You must be 18 or older and hold a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.
You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.
