About the 2001 Dodge Intrepid
Here are the 2001 Dodge Intrepid's figures, in numbers and in words.
Under the hood
Power: the 2.7L 6-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.
It is rated at 11.5 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 35 litres. City and highway ratings are 13.5 and 9.2 L/100 km. A 300 km weekend costs about $53.49 in energy at our price setting.
Space, size and seats
Being a large sedan, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 510 litres of luggage space hold a family's bags for a long weekend.
Good uses for the Intrepid
It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Trips in the Intrepid
Return the car with the same fuel it had at pickup. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go.
Can I rent it?
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
How to book
Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Driver requirements
The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26, a young driver fee applies for each day of the rental. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
When you know your dates
If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
