The 2011 Dodge Nitro at a glance
The 2011 Dodge Nitro is an SUV.
Engine and fuel
The 3.7L 6-cylinder is what moves it, with rear-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.
It is rated at 13.0 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 39 litres. Around town it is rated at 14.7 L/100 km; on the highway, 10.8. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $60.45 at our price setting.
Who it is for
It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.
Trips in the Nitro
Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. Trips outside Ontario need our written consent, agreed before you go. Plan longer trips against the kilometres included each day.
Living with the Nitro
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
Renting it
Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
How booking works
First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
Who qualifies
If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.
Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
One more step
Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
