Getting to know the 2021 Ford Edge Titanium

Everything we can source about the 2021 Ford Edge Titanium is on this page. The Titanium is number 4 of the 5 trims sold in Canada for 2021.

Reading the spec sheet

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.

Combined fuel use is 9.8 L/100 km: about 29 litres for 300 km. In the city it is rated at 11.2 L/100 km, and on the highway 8.1. A weekend of 300 km comes to about $45.57 at our price setting. For those who think in miles, it is rated 24 MPG (US) combined.

Good uses for the Edge

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Longer drives

Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. Plan longer trips against the kilometres included each day. For a trip out of Ontario, ask first: it needs our written consent.

Space and size

It offers the space of an SUV with the height that makes loading easy.

Renting it

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.

Booking in plain terms

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. We reply with an offer for the car and the dates, priced in full. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held before each rental; the amount is on the car's page. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

One more step

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.

How the Titanium compares with the other 2021 trims

  • The Titanium is trim 4 of 5 in the Canadian lineup.
  • It shares its EPA-rated powertrains with the SE, SEL, ST-Line and ST, so the difference is in equipment, not the engine.
