The Escape in silver

Want silver? Put it in the request. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for silver in your request. If silver matters for an event, say so and we look for one for your dates.

Under the hood

It runs the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

By the EPA's combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 23 litres. That works out to about $12.09 per 100 km at our price setting.

Good uses for the Escape

It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

What the Escape is like

As a compact SUV, it sits higher than a sedan, which makes getting in and loading easier.

Getting one from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

What to expect when you book

Tell us the car and the dates in a request. There is no fee for asking. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

Rules for renters

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. Drivers under 26 can rent with a young driver fee each day. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.

Next step

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
