The 2021 Ford Escape S, explained

A note on Weitchpec

Choosing a colour

We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for red and we try. A colour can never be promised before we confirm; ask for red in your request. Colour is confirmed in your offer, never before.

Under the hood

Its 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.8 L/100 km rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.09 at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

An SUV body means more headroom and a taller cargo opening than a car of the same length.

Who the Escape suits

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going.

In our fleet

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What we need from you

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Requesting a car

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Send a request

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
