Meet the 2021 Ford Escape Titanium

The Titanium is the top trim of the 2021 Ford Escape in Canada. This page covers the 2021 Ford Escape Titanium, a compact SUV.

Engine and fuel

It is powered by the 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow. It shifts by itself; there is no clutch pedal to think about.

Fuel use is rated 7.8 L/100 km combined, so 300 km needs about 23 litres. The split is 8.5 L/100 km in town and 6.8 on the highway. Every 100 km costs about $12.09 in fuel at our price setting. In miles per US gallon, it is rated 30 combined.

Living with the Escape

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic.

Good uses for the Escape

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits winter trips and weekends with more gear than people. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Taking it further

Return the car with the fuel it had at pickup, or a fee applies. Each car shows the kilometres included each day and the rate for extra ones. A long weekend away is easy to price with the figures on this page.

Rent this car

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.

Booking in plain terms

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
