Requesting a car

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

Driver basics

Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.
