Renting: the basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. There is no upper age limit, and drivers under 26 pay a fee for each day. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
