Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
