The figures, translated

The 3.0L 6-cylinder turbo with four-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. It runs on diesel, sold at most highway stations. Four-wheel drive helps on rough ground and deep snow; on dry roads it behaves like any other vehicle.

By the EPA's combined rating of 10.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 31 litres. In energy, every 100 km costs about $15.97 at our price setting.

What to expect from the F-150

A pickup is long and tall, so plan for parking and low garages.

Good uses for the F-150

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

Can I rent it?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Renting: the basics

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Getting the car booked

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. Our team answers with an offer: the confirmed car, the dates and the full price. Approve it and the car is booked; decline it and nothing happens.

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Next step

Tell us your dates and where you want the car, and we will do the rest.
