Colour notes

Our white cars, when we have them, appear first in the list. Want white? Put it in the request. We cannot promise a colour until we confirm; ask for white and we try.

Reading the spec sheet

Power comes from the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo, driving through an automatic (CVT). The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.8 L/100 km rating. Expect about $12.09 per 100 km at our price setting.

Living with the CR-V

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Who it is for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Renting this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

The booking steps

First you send a request with the car and the times. No card is charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Who qualifies

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.
