The Odyssey in grey

Tell us if grey is a must or a preference, and we look accordingly. A grey car can be requested, but never promised before we confirm. Want grey? Put it in the request.

Engine and fuel

The 3.5L 6-cylinder does the work, through a 10-speed automatic. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 32 litres, from its 10.5 L/100 km rating. At our price setting, 1,000 km costs about $162.80.

Who the Odyssey suits

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

Space, size and seats

Being a minivan, it carries people and their bags without fuss.

What to expect when you book

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. Our reply is an offer that lists the rate, the kilometres included and any delivery fee. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A single booking can run up to 365 days. For longer, it renews month after month. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

Driver requirements

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
